Uploading is an interactive narrative experience exploring digital immortality, memory and the choice of death. Set in a future where human consciousness can be uploaded into a virtual world, the story invites the audience to move through the protagonist’s life by making a series of personal decisions. Told in reverse chronology, the experience gradually moves from the end of a life back toward earlier memories, allowing ordinary moments — conversations, gatherings and family interactions — to gain new meaning. Combining text, sound, video and branching choices, Uploading transforms the audience from a passive reader into an active participant. The project asks what it means to live, leave and be remembered when technology offers the possibility of continuing beyond the physical body.
