Rhythm of Life is a data-driven audiovisual work that transforms live global population data into evolving sound and generative visuals. Real-time figures including world population, births and deaths are mapped to different musical and visual parameters: population forms the continuous musical layer, while births and deaths generate contrasting higher and lower tones alongside constantly shifting visual forms. Rather than presenting population statistics simply as numbers, the project asks whether the movement of human life can be heard and experienced. By translating continuously changing data into rhythm, melody and motion, Rhythm of Life turns large-scale demographic information into a more immediate and emotional experience, revealing the invisible flow of lives beginning and ending around the world.
